Wordtime app for iPhone and iPad

Wordtime helps children practice reading single words.

It was initially conceived as a way to help with high-frequency words but can be used to practice reading any words - for example topic words, school reading lists even foreign language words!

Words to be learnt can be entered into the app by an adult, grouped together in lists in whatever way makes sense for the reading ability of the child.

The child then chooses one of the lists and swipes through the words, reading each word in turn and perhaps copying it (depending on writing ability).

The app comes with more than 170 common English high-frequency words ready to use.
